Our materials – responsibility & transparency
We carefully select each of our materials – from organic cotton and TENCEL™ Modal to recycled fibres – with a view to origin, feel and quality. Depending on the item, our products are certified to recognised standards such as GOTS, OCS, GRS, RCS or RWS – the certification that applies is stated on each product page under “Production Details”.
Certificates and evidence: For data protection and company policy reasons, we do not publish original documents on the website. On request, we will be happy to provide you with the relevant certificates and test reports.

Organic Cotton
Organic cotton is grown according to the rules of organic farming – without synthetic pesticides or synthetic fertilisers, and from non-GMO seed. We love this material because it is soft, breathable and feels particularly pleasant on the skin. Depending on the product, our organic cotton items are certified to GOTS or OCS.

TENCEL™ Modal is a cellulose fibre made by Lenzing AG from beech wood – according to the manufacturer, from certified and controlled sources. We love this material because it is exceptionally soft, breathable and keeps its shape, making it ideal for clothing worn close to the skin. It retains its shape and colour even after many washes.

TENCEL™ Lyocell is a wood-based cellulose fibre by Lenzing AG which, according to the manufacturer, is produced in a closed-loop process in which the solvent is largely recovered. We value this material because it is soft and breathable and regulates moisture well – for a light, comfortable feel all day long.

Linen is made from the fibres of the flax plant and impresses with its natural elegance. We love linen because it is breathable, robust and durable. Its natural texture makes it pleasant to wear – especially on warm days – and gives every garment a timeless look.

LENZING™ ECOVERO™ is a viscose fibre by Lenzing AG made from wood from certified and controlled sources. According to the manufacturer, its production generates up to 50% lower emissions and water impact compared to generic viscose. We value the material because it is soft, fluid and breathable and keeps its colours for a long time.

REPREVE® is a recycled polyester fibre made from used PET bottles, turning packaging waste into a high-quality raw material for textiles. We use REPREVE® because it is hard-wearing, keeps its shape and retains its colours for a long time. Depending on the item, our recycled polyester products are certified to GRS or RCS.

Our recycled polyamide is made from reprocessed polyamide raw materials, so that less new, petroleum-based material is needed. The material is strong, elastic and durable – ideal for clothing that combines comfort and functionality. You can see which certification applies to an item on its product page.

The Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) sets requirements for animal welfare and land management on sheep farms and is certified by independent bodies. We love RWS lambswool because it is soft, durable and temperature-regulating – for high-quality favourites that will stay with you for a long time.
