Sustainable Fashion with Lyocell, TENCEL™ and Organic Cotton: The Future of Women's and Men's Fashion

Sustainable fashion

The fashion industry has undergone a remarkable change in recent years. More and more consumers are interested in what their clothes are made of and how the materials are produced. If you are looking for consciously chosen fabrics, lyocell, TENCEL™ and organic cotton are exciting options. Discover how ORGANICATION helps you fill your wardrobe with timeless, stylish clothing.

What is lyocell and what makes it special?

Lyocell is a cellulose fibre made from wood, for example eucalyptus. For TENCEL™ lyocell, according to the manufacturer Lenzing, over 99% of the solvent is recovered and reused in a closed-loop process. If you choose a lyocell T-shirt, you are choosing a soft, fluid fabric that is comfortable to wear.

TENCEL™ clothing: comfort and lightness combined

TENCEL™ is the brand name for Lenzing's lyocell and modal fibres and is valued for its properties. The fabric feels particularly soft on the skin, is breathable and absorbs and releases moisture well. This makes TENCEL™ tops for women a good choice for everyday wear. Whether you go for a light TENCEL™ long-sleeve top or a comfortable cotton sweatshirt dress – you will enjoy fashion that is stylish and pleasant to wear. Find out more on our TENCEL™ page.

Herringbone fashion: a timeless classic

Alongside the material, design also plays an important role. Herringbone, a classic zigzag pattern, is very much in demand again. This timeless pattern can be found in many ORGANICATION garments for both women and men. On men's linen long-sleeve tops in particular, herringbone gives the design a subtle, modern texture.

Organic cotton: a classic among natural fibres

Women's organic cotton dresses are a good choice for anyone who prefers natural fibres. Unlike conventional cotton, organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides or artificial fertilisers. Organic cotton dresses offer the comfort of a natural fabric that feels soft and pleasant on the skin. Read more on our Organic Cotton page.

Why choose clothing consciously?

Conscious fashion consumption is more than just a trend – it is an attitude. If you buy clothes that last and that you love to wear, you need fewer new pieces overall. At ORGANICATION we state the material and certification for every item – depending on the product, GOTS, OCS, GRS, RCS or RWS. The details are shown on each product page.

How to style timeless fashion every day

Conscious fashion does not have to be boring or uncomfortable. You can pair a women's TENCEL™ top perfectly with jeans or choose a cotton sweatshirt dress for a relaxed casual look. Make sure the colours and cuts are timeless so that you can wear your clothes for years. Build your wardrobe around versatile pieces that are both practical and smart.
